1.  Managed forests 
We believe in putting back what we take out.  That's why the wood fibre that goes to make our Tetra Pak, carton wrap arounds and trays come from managed forests.  These forests are managed in such a way that new trees are planted to replace the ones that have been cut down.  So the natural balance of nature isn't disturbed.

2.  Recyclable materials 
Tetra Pak 
They have the lowest carbon footprint of any rigid beverage packs. 
This is because Tetra Pak is made from environment friendly materials with no detrimental substances used during the production process.  So when you've finished your Alpro soya, the Tetra Pak you throw away can be recycled. (see Tetrapak recycling)  
Our other packaging materials 
Could there be such a thing like environment-friendlier plastic?  Well, we're doing all we can to make it happen. 
To our 500g yogurt pot we've added a recyclable wrap-around with a simple tear-off line which makes it easy to separate from the pot.  This allows us to make the pot itself from 20% less plastic. 
Our 4x125g yogurts and desserts also have a 100% recyclable wrap-around sleeve.  Which means a lot less plastic in our world and a lot more to recycle because all materials can be split up.

3.  Fewer trucks on our roads 
Believe it or not we can help keep some of those trucks off our roads.  That's because most of our packaging material arrives to us in reels that we then form into cartons and fill with Alpro soya.  That means just one truck can carry enough packaging for nearly one million 1 litre cartons, whereas it takes over 50 trucks to delivery one million glass bottles.  In this way Alpro saves yearly about 10,000 trucks on our roads!
